Abstract

One of the most significant environmental problems in Minya Governorate, Egypt, is the presence of significant air pollution in New Minya City, east of the Nile River. Dust and a white haze blanket the air due to the crushing and grinding of calcium carbonate rocks, without considering environmental requirements among investors. This is a result of the lack of environmental awareness among members of investor associations in industrial zones. The study aimed to identify the level of environmental awareness and problem-solving skills among members of investor associations in industrial zones, and to identify the most important factors influencing the development of environmental awareness and problem-solving skills. The researchers relied on a survey approach to achieve the study's objectives, and the experimental approach was the most appropriate for studying the relationship between variables and testing their validity. One of the most important results of the study is that it emphasized the importance of developing environmental awareness and problem-solving skills among members of investor associations in industrial zones. One of the most important recommendations of the study is to integrate environmental information and green investments into the content of the television program, while providing viewers with the opportunity to participate in proposing appropriate solutions to the environmental problems presented in the television program.
