THE ROLE OF CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS IN INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF SOCIAL CAPITAL TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE FRAMEWORK OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The research aimed to reach the role of civil society organizations in achieving increased efficiency of social capital in order to achieve sustainable development, develop community members, improve their quality of life, and enhance their participation in society by providing a variety of services, including: Education and training Health and social care Economic development, promotion  of human rights and preservation of Environment, which can help develop the skills and capabilities of individuals, and can lead to improved economic productivity, increased social prosperity, and sustainable development. For this, the researchers relied on the descriptive analytical app roach, and the field results showed that participation in community development is the goal of volunteers in the association, and it also showed that it works to spread the culture of volunteerism through advertising, seminars and services provided to individuals. The researchers recommended several recommendations, including: the need for civil society organizations to pay attention to the components of social capital (individuals - organizations - the relationship between them) and work to develop it, increase its efficiency, and deal with it as a source of wealth, power, and an inexhaustible social resource.
