Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the determinants of job affiliation and its reflection on the social and environmental dimension among a sample of Tax Authority employees. Therefore, this research discusses one of the most important problems facing the Tax Authority, which is affiliation. Although the Tax Authority is one of the main pillars of the state's general budget, and despite the developments made by the state to develop the Egyptian Tax Authority, there is still a feeling of job dissatisfaction and lack of affiliation to it. The importance of the research also emerged to address a topic "one of the most prominent contemporary topics in sociology that has received special attention from researchers recently, which is job affiliation. The main question of the study was what the determinants of job affiliation and its repercussions on the social and environmental dimension among a sample of Tax Authority employees. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. The most important results reached by the research were that the determinants of job affiliation related to the organization were represented by the work environment, organizational justice, leadership, and empowerment. These determinants affect job affiliation. There is also a relationship between job affiliation, job involvement and social relations that are affected by the employees' job communication. Job affiliation affects the employees' job creativity. There is also a relationship between job affiliation and job satisfaction towards their work. Holding seminars and workshops to raise awareness and develop job affiliation among employees of the Tax Authority. The most important recommendations were to distributed booklets to employees that clarify the determinants of job affiliation, and the determinants of job affiliation related to employees and the organization together, and to raise awareness among employees of the Authority about social and environmental problems.
