AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP STYLES IN DEVELOPING HUMAN RESOURCES TO ACHIEVE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the importance of studying and analyzing strategic leadership styles and their role in the quality of performance of working leaders, and to identify the role of strategic leadership in developing human resources to achieve sustainable development by applying it to administrative leaders and workers in the General Office of Cairo Governorate. To achieve the research objectives, the researchers designed a questionnaire form that was distributed to a sample of the research community of administrative leaders and workers in the various departments in the governorate’s general office, the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach to complete the study, as well as appropriate statistical tests and measures to test the validity of the hypotheses and answer the study’s questions. The results of the study concluded that there is a relationship A positive, statistically significant relationship between strategic leadership styles and the quality of performance of working strategic leaders. It also showed that there is a positive, statistically significant relationship between strategic leadership and the development of global human resources. Results also concluded that there was a role for strategic leadership in achieving sustainable development (the environmental dimension - technological dimension).
