Abstract

The research aimed to try to determine the role of the dimensions of creative thinking (fluency, flexibility, originality, sensitivity to problems) in managing environmental crises. It also aimed to identify the role of artificial intelligence applications (smart searches, voice assistance, chat robots) in managing environmental crises, While determining the role of both creative thinking and artificial intelligence applications in managing environmental crises in the environmental crisis management centers of the Egyptian Ministry of Environment, and in order to reach the goal of the research, the researchers relied on the descriptive analytical approach, which is based on activating a set of hypotheses related to the nature of the relationship between the research variables, and that Based on the theoretical and literary backgrounds in this field, and then testing the validity of these hypotheses, the necessary study tool was designed and applied to the crisis management centers of the Egyptian Ministry of Environment. The research found a statistically significant role for the dimensions of creative thinking (fluency, flexibility, originality, sensitivity to problems) in managing environmental crises. The results also showed the importance of the role of the dimensions of artificial intelligence applications (smart searches, voice assistance, chatbots) in managing environmental crises. In the centers under study, the researchers recommended that the Egyptian Ministry of Environment centers should pay attention to the ability to present innovative ideas to their employees. The researchers also recommended that the Egyptian Ministry of Environment centers have the rapid ability to solve environmental problems by using artificial intelligence applications because of its quick and effective impact in solving the problems.
