Role of Electronic trade in facilitating the process of importing strategic goods and achieving sustainable development goals in Egypt

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the role of electronic commerce in facilitating the process of importing strategic commodities and achieving sustainable development goals in Egypt, as well as clarifying the extent of benefiting from the application of electronic commerce in achieving sustainable development goals at the economic, technological and social levels. To achieve the research objectives, the "researchers" designed a questionnaire It was distributed to a sample of the study population from senior management and executive officials in the electronic commerce system within the General Authority for Supply Commodities in Egypt. The researchers used the analytical descriptive approach to complete the study, and the appropriate statistical tests to test the validity of the hypotheses and answer the questions of the study. The results of the study reached There is a statistically significant positive relationship between the application of electronic commerce and the facilitation of the process of importing strategic goods. From the results, several recommendations were concluded, the most important of which are: The need to keep pace with A Modern technology in the field of electronic commerce to benefit from it in achieving Egyptian food security, as well as the shift from using the traditional trade system to the electronic trade system in an integrated manner to achieve a level of safety in the proportions of the strategic stock of strategic commodities
