Abstract

The environmental Management System is considered as one of the most significant system that can be reliable to the reduction of the environmental pollution, improve the environmental performance of the industrial enterprise, and increase environmental awareness among workers in companies and business institutions, which promoted the increasing care of the environmental and it’s protection to promote an integrated environmental management system through the reveal of the environmental management approval ISO which enables the enterprises to deal with and manage the environmental cases within a clear policy that respects environmental common laws and regulations. This what leads it to consider this side in it’s several activities and functions which attains profits in different fields among it and improving it’s environmental performance which guarantees continuity and persistence.
This study dealt with the concept of various environmental aspects as well as the application of the requirements of the environmental management system ISO14001:2015 in its theoretical aspect. As for the practical aspect, the study dealt with some cases of steel companies - in the city of Suez, which aims to know the extent to which the requirements of the environmental management system ISO14001 version 2015 are applied, and the gains achieved from the adoption of this system.
