The role of the financial & environmental information systems to improve the performance of human resources through the objectives of sustainable development "Field study on some industrial companies".

Abstract

The aim of this study is to clarify the impact and the relative importance of the financial and environmental information systems in activating the role of human resources within the industrial institutions in order to accelerate the sustainable development operation, considering the environmental aspects and their effects, where over time, the need for financial and environmental information systems increases, as we live in a world of rapid growth and increasing changes, which requires everyone to realize the requirements of development in the present and the future. Theory and field study, which consisted of the study sample of 100 employees representing all administrative levels in a number of production factories. The researchers conducted data analysis using the test-re-test method and then according to the reliability coefficient using (Pearson correlation coefficient), then arithmetic averages and standard deviations of the responses of the study sample members have been calculated, these are related to the interest in developing the role of financial and environmental information systems in the departments affiliated with factories.
The study concluded that the industrial factory departments should increase their interest in the concept and types of financial and environmental information systems because of this contribution and promotion to the development of the process of improving human resources performance in the light of sustainable development, and there is also a medium practice by those workers to generate ideas and identify alternatives or possibilities, from the available data and then turning it into information and converting information into new ideas, a fact, in order to help factories for achieving their goals. While there is a statistically significant effect between the role of financial information systems and the human resources performance improvement through the concepts of sustainability, in the factories samples of study.
The study recommends the need to increase the factories administrations interest in creating a research and development unit that undertakes the task of studying ways of financial and environmental information systems at the management level, which would enhance the managerial growth of employees and production processes recipients. It is a must to increase cooperation with local community institutions and goods receivers, because society undergoes intentional and planned changes known as sustainable development, so it is not such society that wants to keep the current situation as it is.
