Abstract

The study aimed to determine the role of ethical leadership in reducing environmental pollution of solid waste resulting from chemical industries. – Clarity of the role (participation in the authority) in reducing the environmental pollution of solid waste, and providing recommendations and suggestions to decision makers, aiming to clarify the importance of the role of ethical leadership in reducing environmental pollution of solid waste while identifying the obstacles that prevent the use of solid waste and the consequences of That of economic losses, and how to benefit from these wastes. The researchers used the desk survey method to take advantage of the available sources and studies to build the theoretical aspect. They also relied on the descriptive approach in presenting the data, and they relied on the analytical approach used in analyzing the results related to the subject of the study and its variables in order to identify the role of ethical leadership in reducing environmental pollution of solid waste from its face. Employees' consideration, quantitative and statistical methods will also be used. The researchers will rely on the questionnaire as the main tool for data collection, and the form will consist of two parts, the first part includes the primary data of the sample (gender, age, educational status, marital status, occupational degree), designing a questionnaire to measure the independent variable moral leadership, designing a questionnaire A questionnaire to measure the mediating variable "reducing environmental impacts", designing a questionnaire to measure the dependent variable "solid waste", conducting in-depth interviews with experts in the field of chemical industries. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample of (35) workers and technicians in the Beijing Company, which is one of the subsidiaries of the Holding Company, which is located in the First Industrial Zone in Obour City. The sample members about the issues of the student, and the difference in a number of characteristics between individuals would shed light on influencing the opinions of these individuals, and the researcher will shed light on the most important features that distinguish the study sample, and the study tools were initially applied to 35 workers and technicians, and when Monitoring the responses Five subjects were enslaved, and thus the number of samples reached 30 samples only. Questionnaire forms (ethical leadership, types of waste, and environmental effects of solid waste accumulation) were applied. The arithmetic averages and standard deviations of the responses of the study sample to the statements were as follows: The percentage of employees who agreed on the dimension of ethical leadership reached (47 - 50%) of the total sample items, and this indicates that most of the sample members agree on the personal qualities of the moral leader, With regard to administrative qualities, the percentage of those who agree has reached (46 - 67%), and it is clear from this that most of the sample members are convinced of the administrative qualities of the moral leader, and the percentage of approval on the dimension of human qualities came to about (32.5%), but compared to the previous dimensions above, this may be due to some leaders' lack of interest in human relations.
In light of what has been reached, we present a number of recommendations and proposals, which are as follows: designing and implementing training programs to increase environmental awareness, designing and implementing programs to raise the efficiency of technicians and workers in the field, designing and implementing training programs to master ways to deal with environmental waste, designing And implementing training programs to prepare a second class of ethical leaders, which include organizing courses to clarify the nature, importance and principles of ethical leadership.
