Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of an environmental cognitive program in reducing psychosomatic disorders among outpatient clinic clients. The researchers used the new Cornell Checklist for neurological and psychosomatic aspects (modified), the Stress Coping Styles Scale, and the World Health Organization's Quality of Life Scale. The study reached several results, the most important of which are: the effectiveness of the program in alleviating psychosomatic symptoms and thus reducing the disorder, as the experimental group showed a significant positive variation in the post-application of the Cornell Checklist, the Stress Coping Styles Scale, and the Quality of Life Scale compared to the control group.
