Abstract

This research aims to reveal the effectiveness of using infographics to develop environmental concepts and behaviors for pupils with learning difficulties at the primary stage. The research tools were the design of the infographics programme and then the design of a (28)-phrases of environmental concepts test and the design of an environmental behavioral measure of about (24) behavioral and counterproductive attitudes through the Infographics. The research results indicate that all infographic patterns have the potential to develop environmental perceptions and behaviours in pupils with learning difficulties at the primary stage. There are also statistically significant differences between the averages of pupils' scores to test environmental concepts due to the pattern of the infographics used. There are also statistically significant differences between the averages of pupils' scores to test environmental behaviors due to the pattern of the infographics used. This demonstrates the effectiveness of infographics in developing environmental concepts, behaviors in pupils with learning difficulties at the primary stage. The research recommended the use of infographics to treat learning difficulties of primary students and to develop environmental concepts and behaviours. Its ability to overcome these difficulties, modify their behaviours towards the environment as well as the need for further research into the absence of the impact of different patterns.
