Abstract

The current research aims to verify the effectiveness of a psychological counseling program to modify some sexual harassment behaviors in a sample of middle school students in the light of some environmental variables. The research reached the most important results: There are statistically significant differences between the average grades of the experimental group and the control group in the dimensional measurement on the scale of sexual harassment as a whole and its sub-dimensions in the direction of the experimental group. Statistically significant differences exist between the average grades of the experimental group in tribal and distance measurement on the sexual harassment scale as a whole and its sub-dimensions in the direction of tribal measurement. There are no significant differences between the average grades of the experimental group on the scale of sexual harassment as a whole and its sub-dimensions. The researchers also recommended the introduction of a sex education culture and ways to protect oneself from the harassment that pupils should receive in early childhood. With the integration of the concepts of (sexual education - sexual harassment - physical violence) within the curricula of the basic education stages, and the implementation of awareness programs in schools, with the participation of the health visitor - psychologist - social worker - teacher of religious education. Attention to school problems through participation and cooperation between schools, security agencies and various civil society institutions, to increase awareness and find radical solutions to them, especially the problem of sexual harassment.
