THE EFFECTIVIENESS OF A SUGGESTED CONCEPTION FOR THE ICE KINGDOM FROZEN MAGANIZINE TO DEVELOP LATE CHILDHOOD ENVIRONMENTAL CONCEPTS AND VALUES

Abstract

The study aimed to develop some environmental concepts and values ​​among children in late childhood through a proposed conception of the Ice Kingdom magazine (FROZEN). The study group was selected from students of Dar Al-Saada Primary School (Girls) in the Zeitoun Educational Administration, Cairo Governorate. The experimental method was used, the quasi-experimental design for one group, and the pre- and post-application of measurement tools (Environmental Concepts Test / Environmental Values Scale). After the students have read the proposed conception of the magazine, the study reached a set of results, including the effectiveness of using a proposed conception of the Ice Kingdom magazine (FROZEN) in developing environmental concepts and values, and the importance of including children's magazines with different concepts and values.
