THE EFFICACY OF COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL/ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAM IN IMPROVING ADOLESCENTS DIAGNOSED BEHAVIORAL DISORDERS BY IMPROVING SOME ENVIRONMENTAL VARIABLES

Abstract

The current study aimed to estimate the effectiveness of an environmental cognitive behavioral program for improvement of the troubled adolescents Behavior in light of some environmental variables, and the extent of the continuity of reducing the symptoms of conduct disorder after completing the application of the cognitive-behavioral program in a natural external environment, compared to another experimental sample that received the cognitive-behavioral program inside the hospital. The study showed that there were fundamental differences between the patients of the experimental group that received the program in the natural outdoor environment, and the experimental  group that received hospital treatment in favor of the experimental group that received the program in the natural outdoor environment in terms of a decrease in symptoms for conduct disorder in its four dimensions, and an increase in the rate of psychological well-being, and the improvement continued during the first and second follow-up stages in favor of the Experimental group where symptoms of conduct disorder continued to decrease and psychological well-being increased. Substantial differences also emerged between the pre- and post-measurement among the study sample who received the therapeutic program in the outdoor environment while there were no differences between the post measurements and the first and second follow up measurements, High ratings and positive. Opinions also appeared in the therapeutic program immediately after its application and after my period Follow up.
