SOCIAL CARE AND IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR SUGAR COMPANY EMPLOYEES FIELD STUDY APPLIED TO WORKERS AT THE EGYPTIAN SUGAR AND INTEGRATED INDUSTRIES COMPANY IN HAWAMDIYA
The research aimed to determine the relationship between social care services provided to employees of the Sugar Company and improving their quality of life. In line with the type of research and its objectives, the researchers used the descriptive analytical research pattern as it is the most appropriate type of research suitable for the nature of the research topic. The research also used the social survey method with a sample, because it is the appropriate method for the research. The research also relied on two tools to collect data from the research community, which are a questionnaire tool about the social care services provided to employees within the Sugar Company, and the World Health Organization's Quality of Life Scale. The research sample was determined in a regular random sample of employees of the Hawamdia Sugar Company. The research results showed that there is a statistically significant direct relationship between each of the social care services indicators (economic care services - physical and psychological health care services - social and family care services - educational, training and cultural care services) and improving the quality of life for employees of Hawamdia Sugar Company. This relationship may come from the company's keenness to improve the economic, social, health and educational level of its employees. The study results also confirmed that social care services affect improving the quality of life and that the most influential social care services indicators in improving the quality of life for employees of the sugar company were (economic care services, physical and psychological health care services, educational, training and cultural care services). The results also confirmed the absence of statistically significant differences between male and female employees of the sugar company according to the variable of the nature of work. The research recommended the importance of activating the role of labor unions, one of the most important roles of which is defending workers' rights and demanding their right to a decent life.
