Abstract

The aim of the research was to identify the impact of environmental standards in its dimensions (Environmental Quality, Performance Standards, process and production standards) on achieving the overall quality requirements for the development of Egyptian exports in the textile sector in its dimensions (change leadership, participation and teamwork, commitment of senior management, decision-making) and identify the problems and challenges facing the sector, and the study relied on the descriptive approach and statistical method, the results of the study have shown the disruption of production capacity and loss of comparative advantage caused by the abundance of raw materials and cheap labor due to the low level of environmental awareness and not abandoning old technology, the dimension (Environmental Quality) above The dimension (operations and production standards), while the dimension (operations and production standards) received the lowest arithmetic mean, the dimension (senior management commitment) received the highest average, followed by the dimension (change leadership), the dimension (decision-making), while the dimension (participation and teamwork) received the lowest arithmetic mean, the study also showed a positive and average correlation between environmental standards and total quality requirements in the Egyptian textile sector, there is also a positive and average correlation between environmental standards and in the Egyptian textile sector, the research has recommended the need to provide information on global environmental standards And to make it available to producers, to pay attention to the marketing element, to pay attention to the human element.
