THE ROLE OF YOUTH CENTERS IN BUILDING THE CAPABILITIES OF PEOPLE OF DETERMINATION TO INTEGRATE THEM SOCIALLY AND ENVIRONMENTALLY

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the role of youth centers in building the capabilities of people of determination to integrate them socially and environmentally. The study used a descriptive approach on a sample of people with mobility disabilities within five youth centers in Cairo Governorate. The study reached the conclusion that the participation of people of determination in social and environmental development programs is a means for their integration into life. The public, especially since the state is working well to develop people of determination and care for them, and thus acquire more skills in addition to developing their acquired personal experiences. It is the interest in developing democratic values among workers to allow the participation of people of determination in developing the annual plan at the youth center, going beyond traditional plans for activities, and empowering youth. And special groups to participate in decision-making at the center in accordance with their ambitions and needs, and to hold training courses for workers regarding the development of activities, especially activities provided to people of determination in a way that helps improve their capabilities, and to pay attention to the communication of youth center workers with other institutions in a way that helps to achieve the maximum benefit in developing Activities and services provided by the Youth Center for youth in general and people of determination in particular, working to improve the income of families of people of determination through some work, especially in new cities, and working to develop regulations and laws for people of determination and Egypt’s vision for developing their capabilities.
