A PROPOSED PROGRAM TO ALLEVIATE THE OBSTACLES IN THE WORK ENVIRONMENT AFFECTING THE ACHIEVEMENT OF JOB EXCELLENCE IN LIGHT OF THE FIVE MAJOR PERSONALITY FACTORS

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reasons for the low productivity of employees in the Greater Cairo Sanitation Company and to try to develop a general framework and program to treat this deficiency in a way that contributes to developing the performance of employees and then the overall performance of the company. The study attempted to link the five major factors of personality. The sample consisted of forty people who were divided into For two equal groups, each group had twenty people, one of them was an experimental group and an environmental cognitive-behavioral program was applied to it, and the other was a control group, based on the tools used in the study, “the scale of work environment obstacles, the scale of job excellence, the scale of job satisfaction, and the scale of the five major personality factors.” The study concluded. There are statistically significant differences among the sample of the pilot study of workers at the Greater Cairo Sanitation Company referred to, and their response to the environmental cognitive-behavioral program (pre-, follow-up, and post-performance) prepared by the researcher to confront the obstacles of the work environment that are linked to workers’ satisfaction with their work.
