Abstract

The research aimed to study the effectiveness of using the learning model based on hands and minds in developing some professional work skills and environmental attitudes among students of industrial technical education. where the electricity unit was prepared using the model based on hands and minds. Two research tools, “a list of professional work skills and environmental attitudes questionnaires,” were prepared, and the two tools were applied to a sample of students from the Mansoura Military Industrial Secondary School, West Mansoura Educational Administration, for the academic year. After applying the unit to the experimental group, the two tools were applied to the experimental and control groups later. The results indicated that there was a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the experimental and control groups in professional work skills in favor of the experimental group’s scores. and the presence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group students in professional work skills in the pre- and post-measurements in favor of the post-measurement scores.. There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of students in the control and experimental groups in environmental attitudes in favor of the scores of the experimental group.
