Abstract

The research aimed to achieve a general goal of identifying the role of civil society organizations in achieving the dimensions of sustainable social and environmental development for workers in folk crafts in Stable Antar in the Old Cairo region. The study used the descriptive approach on a single sample of (150) individuals from folk crafts owners in the Tawasul Association for the Development of Antar Stable in the Old Cairo region. The study reached the results of the educational dimension, which came in first place among the axes, the results of the social dimension, which came in second place, and the results of the industrial dimension, which came in third place. The study recommended that the issue of craft and handicraft industries must be placed at the top of public policy priorities. Governmental.
