Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the role of early warning systems in improving the efficiency of environmental crisis communication management as an applied study on some neighborhoods in Cairo, as well as to reveal the mechanisms of early warning systems and the reality of environmental crisis communication management within neighborhoods. To achieve the research objectives, a questionnaire was designed and distributed to a sample The study was conducted by officials and workers in crisis management in some neighborhoods of Cairo Governorate, and the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach to complete the study, and the appropriate statistical tests to test the validity of the hypotheses and answer the questions of the study. In the light of the results of the study, several recommendations were concluded, the most important of which are: Paying attention to the use of modern technological techniques in crisis management for its rapid response and forecasting potential crises and disasters, as well as working on continuous improvement of early warning systems to keep pace with environmental changes and developments.
