Abstract

The current study aimed at the role of criminal confrontation of environmental crimes committed by the legal person in achieving sustainable development, in light of the need to pay attention to environmental problems, which have become a tangible reality that the state and individuals suffer from as a result of development and industrial progress and the resulting environmental damage. Hazardous materials and waste and not to dispose of them in a safe manner, where the extent of punishing violators with penalties for each violation according to the Egyptian Environmental Law and its amendments was presented, as well as the sequence of the record was followed up until it reached the criminal court of the appellate misdemeanor court, and the researchers concluded through the above that the criminal penalties stipulated by the laws may be weak on the size of the violation.
