THE ROLE OF ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE IN ACHIEVING THE QUALITY OF ELECTRONIC SERVICES

Abstract

Environmental organizational culture is one of the success factors for the performance of companies and bodies by enhancing the ability to adapt to suit the environment, directing actions, providing solutions to existing problems and facilitating decision-making and transformation initiatives that will improve pro-environmental behavior through setting a clear green vision and strategy by the company that empowers employees. Ultimately making decisions is better consistent with the company's environmental priorities.
This study aimed to identify the impact of environmental organizational culture and the quality of electronic services in Egyptian passports, by identifying the reality of environmental organizational culture in the General Administration of Egyptian Passports, determining the nature of the work of the departments concerned with organizational culture, identifying the quality and level of application of electronic services, and enhancing the culture. Environmental regulatory that contributes to the effectiveness and quality of electronic services.
In preparing the applied part of this study, the researchers used the quasi-experimental method to verify the effect of the independent variable (the impact of environmental organizational culture) on the dependent variable, the quality of electronic services. The researchers used an experimental design based on the experimental and control groups with pre-, post- and follow-up measurement. A sample consisting of (70 individuals) to whom the researchers applied the study tools in their final form.
The most important results of the study were that there was a direct, statistically significant relationship between environmental organizational culture and achieving the quality of electronic services among the study sample. The study reached some recommendations, the most important of which was generalizing environmental thought in all government departments, benefiting from the successful experiences that were achieved in developed countries, and also benefiting from research. Scientific, university and institutional practices that actually practice environmental organizational culture methods and policies must take into account balance in the participation of all employees in developing plans to achieve quality electronic services.
