THE ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS OF THE APPLYING MODERN FIRE PREVENTION SYSTEMS TO NEW URBAN COMMUNITIES

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the economic and environmental effects of the application of modern systems for fire prevention by applying them to the new urban communities, as well as to identify the relationship between the application of modern systems for fire protection, and the reduction of fire risks, as well as to highlight the differences between traditional systems and modern systems for fire protection.  The study was applied to one of the giant commercial and marketing projects in New Cairo, and to achieve the objectives of the research, a questionnaire was designed and distributed to the study sample of project implementation managers, officials in charge of occupational safety and health management, officials in environmental management, some engineers, and some occupational safety and health specialists.  The researchers used the analytical descriptive approach to complete the study, and appropriate statistical tests to test the validity of the hypotheses and answer the study's questions.  Positive and statistically significant between the application of modern fire protection systems  s and reduce the risk of fires, and one of the most important recommendations of the study was to rely on the application of smart systems in detecting the causes of fires, and then preventing them from their economic, environmental, human and material dangers.
