Abstract

The aim of the study was to explore the relationship between urban communities and their residents' behavior in new cities, specifically focusing on the case study of Badr City. The study analyzed the effects of the urban environment on various aspects of people's lives, as well as their interactive impact and how they adapt to the new urban environments based on their diverse needs. The study aimed to understand the social and behavioral characteristics of individuals in new urban communities, which were initially shaped as a reflection and translation of previous cultures.
The study provides key insights into how new urban communities can be designed and planned to consider the social and behavioral characteristics of their residents. Moreover, the study highlights the need for city administrations to pay attention to developing infrastructure and services in new cities such as Badr City, particularly given their potential to become attractive places for students and other residents.
Furthermore, the study makes several valuable recommendations, such as providing distributed security points within neighborhoods and addressing the issue of Connectors services due to the absence of public transportation. In conclusion, the study on Badr City has important implications for urban planning and suggests that the design of new urban communities should be informed by an understanding of the social and behavioral needs of their prospective residents.
