Abstract

The new Corona virus spread suddenly and quickly to roam the world, making no difference to it between a poor and a rich country to freeze all activities of commercial, industrial and economic life … etc., and the virus cast a shadow of suffering on peoples due to large numbers of infections and many deaths without distinguishing between the old and the young. The current study aimed to shed light on the psychological aspect of the infected person with the emerging corona virus, what he suffers from the pressures of the corona pandemic, health problems associated with infection with the virus, pathological fears of infection with the virus, and what the patient suffers from anxiety. The descriptive approach was used, then the analytical approach was used. The study sample included (30) infected, including (15) males and (15) females from rural and urban areas, and (40) contacts (20) males and (20) females from rural and urban areas, and their ages ranged from (25) years to (35) years.
Five scales were applied (Corona pandemic stress scale - prepared by the researcher / social support scale - prepared by the researcher / scale of the five major factors of personality / Taylor scale / Beck scale) and the descriptive approach was used, then the analytical approach was used.
