Abstract

The problem of bullying is a serious problem that threatens the security of adolescents and their families, especially online bullying by digital devices such as mobile phones and computers, by sending negative, harmful or false content about another person and may include the exchange of personal information with the intent of defamation or insult in some Sometimes cyberbullying may develop into illegal or criminal behavior, as the phenomenon of cyber-bullying has become one of the most common basic problems among children and adolescents. Therefore, the study aimed to identify the causes of cyber-bullying, and know the effects of the prevalence of cyber-bullying, as well as knowing the psychological effects and social consequences for adolescent girls as a result of being subjected to cyberbullying.
The researcher designed a (questionnaire) for the purpose of collecting data from the individuals of the study sample, taking notes of importance and related to the axes of the study. And he discussed its variables, and applied them to a sample of (120) female secondary school students in some secondary schools for girls in Cairo Governorate.
The study concluded that there is an inverse statistically significant relationship between the academic grade and the five dimensions of psychological and social variables (psychological, verbal, social, behavioral, and physical), and there is also an inverse statistically significant relationship between the age variable and the five dimensions of psychological and social variables (psychological, verbal). , social, behavioral, physical), and there is a direct statistically significant relationship between the social status of the head of the family and the five dimensions of psychological and social variables (psychological, verbal, social, behavioral, and physical), and the study also found a positive relationship. Between the qualification of the head of the family and the five dimensions of psychological and social variables (psychological, verbal, social, behavioral, physical) at a moral level of (99%). Monitoring teenage girls' use of modern means of communication and the Internet in general, and ensuring the correct use of the Internet.
