Abstract

The current research aims to study the effectiveness of the use of scientific stations in the development of environmental Literacy for middle school students. To achieve this, previous research, studies, and research tools related to the same subject were reviewed. The research relied on the experimental approach and semi-experimental design with two equal groups (control and experimental). The research was applied to a group of (60) students from the second preparatory grade students at the Martyr Shady Magdi Preparatory School for Girls, in the West Nasr City Educational Administration. They were divided into two control and experimental groups, each with (30) students. The research represented in the Environmental Literacy Scale was applied before and after applying the research experiment. The strategy of scientific stations was used in teaching the second unit of the science curriculum, the first semester, with the experimental group, and the traditional method was used with the group. The results of the research showed that the students of the experimental group that study according to the scientific stations strategy excelled over the control group that studied according to the usual method in developing environmental Literacy.
