Abstract

The aim of the study was to identify the extent, significance and significance of the differences between the quality of life in poor rural environments, the quality of life in urban poor environments on the variable of environmental alienation, the knowledge of the direction, quantity and significance of the relationship between quality of life in rural poor environments and environmental alienation between quality of life in urban poor environments and environmental alienation. The study was a sample of 280 males and females. The descriptive approach was used. The researcher compared the quality of life in rural areas with the quality of life in urban areas on the variable of environmental alienation. The questionnaire used the poor environments of the researcher's preparation, the quality of life criterion prepared by the researcher, and the environmental alienation scale prepared by the researcher
The study found several important results: the existence of statistically significant differences between the quality of life group in poor rural environments and the quality of life group in urban poor environments on the environmental alienation variable for the quality of life group in poor urban environments where the correlation coefficients were high, The level of significance (0.01) to the degree of confidence 99% and then can accept the validity of the first hypothesis. There was a statistically significant positive relationship between the quality of life in the urban poor environments (and their different dimensions and the total degree) and the environmental alienation (with its different dimensions and the total degree) where all values of correlation coefficients were high and its significance at the level of significance (0.01) Hence, the validity of the third hypothesis can be accepted. The research proposed by the researcher to study the reasons for the growing sense of alienation to reduce the environmental impact of environmental alienation of citizens.
