EFFECTIVENESS OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL TV PROGRAM IN CHANNEL 2 IN DEVELOPING ENVIRONMENTAL LITERACY FOR DIFFERENT CATEGORIES OF AUDIENCE

Abstract

The research aimed at the effectiveness of the environmental program in the second channel in developing environmental enlightenment among different categories of the public, and some sub-objectives branch from this main objective, which are as follows: 
Statement of the effectiveness of the environmental program public
At the level of significance (0.05) between the experimental group and the control group in the pre-application of the dimensions of (environmental knowledge - environmental trends - decision-making and problem-solving skill) as well as the total degree where the levels of significance for all dimensions of the scale (0.987, 0.379, 0.118, 0.532) respectively and also the total degree, which shows the equivalence of the two groups in the pre-application of the environmental enlightenment scale and thus the possibility of conducting the scale on the two study groups due to the achievement of the condition of homogeneity.
The researcher recommends further conducting more applied research that depends on addressing the environmental dimension in Egyptian television through recent articles and conferences.
