Abstract

The research mainly aims to identify the relative impact of irrational use of pesticides on the quantity of Egyptian potato exports in order to identify appropriate policies and mechanisms to reduce the negative effects of this use, which contributes to improving their quality and reducing the number of rejected messages.
The research problem was the negative impact of the irrational use of pesticides in Egypt on the production of potatoes for export, which contributed to increasing the contribution of pesticide residues to the reasons for the rejection of Egyptian exports of potatoes .The researchers used the descriptive analytical and quantitative approach of the equations of general time direction and multiple regression.
The research found several results, including that by increasing the number of rejected messages from potatoes due to considerations related to pesticide residues, the amount of Egyptian exports of potatoes decreased by 2.85%, a relationship consistent with economic logic. It turned out that by increasing the number of rejected potato letters due to considerations related to heavy elements, the amount of Egyptian exports of potatoes decreased by 0.4%, .t was found that by increasing the number of rejected letters of potatoes due to considerations related to other aspects such as packaging and others, the amount of Egyptian exports of potatoes decreased by 2%, a relationship consistent with economic logic. The increase in the export price of Egypt's potato exports, the amount of Egyptian potato exports decreases by 2.45%, a relationship consistent with economic logic.
