Abstract

This study has been conducted to investigate the development of the skills of solving environmental problems in an innovative way for the young inventor through a program of activities for a sample of students who won the competition of the Young Inventor at Cairo Governorate's level. The study sample consists of (50) items, and its conditions are: 1- The age group should be from (11--15), 2- That the male/female student should be from the gifted classes within the educational administration. Several basic tools are used in the program to collect data from the research population, which are represented in documents and records, personal interviews, questionnaires and measurements,
statistical treatment as a means that serve the goal of the program and through their application to male and female students pre/post application of the program. The study has reached a number of results, the most important of which are: 1- The differences were in favor of the post-measurement by comparing the post-measurement averages with the pre-measurement averages, we find that the post-measurement average comes with an arithmetic mean. which is greater than the arithmetic mean of the pre-measurement. 2- Calculating the effect size of the proposed program as an independent variable on acquiring the ability to solve environmental problems as a dependent variable. 3- A high level of influence of the independent variable (the program), with the influence of the dependent variable (the ability to solve environmental problems). 4- The high level of influence of the independent variable (the program), with the influence of the dependent variable (the skills of innovation methods in solving environmental problems) on the degree of the scale as a whole, and this is what the study succeeded in improving significantly using the environmental knowledge program, and this is confirmed by the results of the study
