Abstract

The study aimed to study "psychological and environmental variables and their relationship to stuttering among children of late childhood in the light of supportive family environments, as well as to clarify the role of supportive family environments in reducing stuttering disorder for children in late childhood, and to achieve the objectives of the study, a survey list was designed to collect primary data from the study sample  Through personal interviews, a measure for psychological variables and another for environmental variables were developed, prepared by the researchers They were distributed to a sample of children with stuttering disorder in late childhood within a group of care centers for people with special needs in Suez Governorate. A similar sample of normal children was also selected as peers.  Stuttering children at school, and the researchers used the descriptive correlative approach to complete the study, and appropriate statistical measures to test the validity of the hypotheses and answer the study's questions.  Late childhood, as shown by the existence of a correlation mo  A meal with statistical significance between environmental variables and their dimensions (family environment - supportive environment - social variables - physical environment of the dwelling) and stuttering disorder among children in late childhood.  Modern programs and standards to find out the causes of stuttering disorder in children, according to the emerging psychological and environmental variables, so that scientists and researchers can develop appropriate treatment programs for this problem.
