THE IMPACT OF STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP ON THE PERFORMANCE OF ADMINISTRATIVE WORKERS TO ACHIEVE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT A FIELD STUDY ON AIN SHAMS UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS
This present study drives at examining "the impact of strategic leadership on the performance of administrative personnel to achieve sustainable development" within Ain Shams University Hospitals – Al-Demerdash Hospital as a model for achieving the research objectives. A questionnaire was designed and then distributed to all officials and employees of Al-Demerdash Hospital administration. The researchers used the descriptive-analytical method and the appropriate statistical tests to test validity of the hypotheses and answer the study's questions.
The results of the study concluded that there is a significant correlation between transformational leadership and performance of administrators workers in the hospital. There is also a directstatistically significant correlation between performance of administrative personnel and achieving the sustainable development.
The study recommends restructuring the leadership selection system and applying governance systems in the selection of leaders, identifying as well, the hospital sector plan, the plan of its medical school, and the university's plan, to be going along with the state's plan as a whole. Building national strategies for the sustainable design of health care, in which most of organizations, community members and experts concerned with sustainable health development can participate in.
Increasing awareness among leaders to intensify the effort aimed at encouraging scientific research for health sustainability and benefiting from the fruits of scientific progress, working as well, to increase modern technological and technical awareness to achieve sustainable design for health care.
