Abstract

This current research aim to using (4mat) model in teaching "social studies" in primary grade six in order to developing the skills of think creative in solving environment problems. The research depended. On Quasi experimental method and'descriptive method'.The research sanpe depends on(110) students male and female;(45) experimental group,(45) control group and(20)survey sample.The researchers depended on some tools which

included main and secondary list for ' Think creative skills in solving environment problems, and doing a teacher guide book and a student book .The research reached:

Experimental group students superiority on the control group students in dimen tional application in think creative skills test in solving environment problems. This isdue tousing the educational procedures according to (4mat) model for McCarthy which helped to developing the think creative in solving environment problems and thore are clear differences between the averages of marks between the experimental group and the control group in dimential application for the whole mark in the test of think creative for the sake of the experimental group and this refers to the effectively of(4mat) model in teaching 'coast unit' in primary six curriculum .

The research recommends to the importune of students training on different creative thinking skills and on the strategy of solving problems and teaching them about its benefits to gire them positive dyrections towards practicing them in their edusatioand and in all life experiences.
