QUALITY OF LIFE AND RELATIONSHIP TO ENVIRONMENTAL PERCEPTION AMONG CHILDREN WITH COLOR BLINDNESS IN SLUM AREAS

Abstract

 
The Study Aimed to Identify the Relationship Between Quality of Life and Environmental Perception Among Children in Different Areas of Residence (planned/ Slum), Where the Study Semple Included Thirty- Five Children in Middle and Late Childhood Who Were Color Blind, Including Fifteen Children from Slums,and Twenty Asingle Boy and Girl from the Residents of The Planned Areas Were Sortsd by the Color- Blindness Test, and The Researcher Applied the Choice of Environmental Perception to the Sample of Children, and the Quality of Life Test was Applied to the Families of Children to Measure the Social and Economic Level of the Family, Where the Rsults of the Study Showed that there are Differences Between Children living in Slum and planned in the Quality of life in favor of the planned environment children, there are differences between children in the dimrnsions of environmental perception and total score on the scale between children of the Slum and planned areas in favor of the planned areas. And environmental Perception among children in slums, so the current study  recommends the necessity of early detection of children in schools abut exposure color blindness because of its impact on the psychological and educational life of the child
