THE EFFECT OF ATTITUDES TOWARDS THE ENVIRONMENT ON THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF RESIDENTS OF SOME DEVELOPED AREAS (ASMARAT DISTRICT – OCTOBER GARDENS)

Abstract

The current study aimed to study the effect of attitudes towards the environment on the quality of life of residents of some developed areas (Al- Asmarat neighborhood- October Gardens), and the current study was conducted on a sample of (60) individuals divided as follows: Al-Asmarat neighborhood in Cairo (30) individuals divided into (15).
They are divided into (15 males and 15 females), and their ages in both groups range from (25: 40) years. The measure of attitudes towards the environment and the measure of quality of life were used in this study, and the descriptive approach was used. The results of the study found: there is a relationship statistically significant correlation between attitudes towards the environment and quality of life, there is also a statistically significant effect of the attitudes towards the environment (the behavioral aspect) on the quality of life of residents of the developed.
Also, there is no statistically significant effect of the attitudes towards the environment (the cognitive side, the emotional side)  of the quality of life of the residents of the developed areas with regard to the dimension of housing, health and social relations, and after managing time and enjoying leisure time, and also there is no statistically significant effect of the trends towards the environment (The cognitive side, the emotional side and the behavioral side) on the quality of life of the residents of the developed areas with regard to the education dimension and the work dimension.
