Abstract

The current research aims to develop awareness of bioenvironmental technologies and develop metacognitive skills among students of the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, and the research tools represented in the Biotechnology Awareness Scale and the Meta-Knowledge Skills Scale - after verifying their validity and scientific stability - were applied to a group of students of the College of Education, first division, Biology Division. Another statistic, and the results of the research revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control group in the post application of the environmental biotechnology awareness scale, so the results indicated the effectiveness of the proposed program using the six-dimensional strategy in the study, and there are statistically significant differences between the mean The degrees of the experimental and control group in the post-application of the total score of the Metacognitive Skills Scale, so it was The results showed the effectiveness of the proposed program using the six-dimensional strategy in the large study, and the study recommended the necessity of including the issues of biotechnology and its applications in various fields of biology using the six-dimensional strategy.
