A PROPOSAL PROGRAM FOR DEVELOPMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CITIZENSHIP FOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS AND INDIVIDUALS THROUGH MORAL GUIDANCE DIRECTORATE OF THE STATE OF KUWAIT

Abstract

The target of this Research is to develop environmental citizenship to non-commissioned officers and the Kuwaiti army moral guidance Department through the State of Kuwait, the researcher has a list of dimensions environmental citizenship and knowledge of experts and specialists, and in its light has been reviewing programs and plans provided to army moral guidance Department, show that there are shortcomings in addressing environmental citizenship concept and its dimensions, the view finder to know the role of moral guidance Directorate of the armed forces of Kuwait Defense Ministry, and measure their impact on the development of environmental citizenship have commissioned officers and for the Would damage the local, regional and global environment. Given the importance of environmental citizenship for non-commissioned officers and the Kuwaiti army, so a program was proposed to develop environmental citizenship among noncommissioned officers and individuals, environmental citizenship dimensions were identified in three dimensions:
(Awareness of local and global issues ' awareness of the concept of environmental citizenship, commitment to environmental rights and duties ' environmental justice ', the responsible environmental behavior ' work and environmental responsibility '). Research tools have been developed and used, namely: list of environmental citizenship dimensions proposed program includes: (lectures, discussions, workshops),-scale environmental citizenship.
Experimental curriculum is used per group pilot (before-after) with non-commissioned officers and to measure environmental citizenship to measure the impact of (program) on the dependent variable (environmental citizenship) .The results produced feature differences statistically significant between the average grades of noncommissioned officers and individuals in tribal and dimensional application for environmental citizenship standard for application post 0.05 significance level. Which indicates that the program impact in the development of environmental citizenship. The study recommended the program should apply through moral guidance Directorate of  Kuwaiti army.
