SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL VARIABLES ASSOCIATED WITH SOPRTS’ RACIALISM AMONG YOUTH - THE EFFECTIVENESS OF A SUGGESTING PROGRAM FOR ALLEVIATING SOPRTS’ RACIALISM

Abstract

This research aims to study thehooliganism phenomenon and detect some of related social and psychological variables of it, and to identify it's reasons , effects and how to solve it. Also to identify the difference between the sport's intolerance levels among youth according to this social variables (Sex , Age, Marital, Educational Level and Social & Economic Level), also the relation between the sport's intolerance among youth and this psychological variables (Mental disorders, Aggression & Anger, Authoritarian Direction), and to clarify the relationship between the value's system among youth and the sport's intolerance, in addition to designing a program to alleviate the sport's intolerance among youth, and this study has relied on social sample survey methodology, where this sample formed from 220 as single cases of  athletes and non-athletes of university youth, also it consisted of the youth visitors to some clubs and youth centers.
 
 
and this study found a range of results which are, the presence of significant differences between gender, age, educational level and the value system relationship among youth and the hooliganism, The lack of statistical semantics between the social and economic level and between hooliganism, in addition to a statistically significant relationship between mental disorders and between hooliganism.
The study ended with a series of recommendations, including work meetings and friendly among all league teams under the slogan (rejection of intolerance), government intervention to expel all of the help on the intolerance of the media and journalists, make permanent visits between the boards and the players from both teams and be under the slogan "no to intolerance," the rehabilitation of members of the press and the media, by the competent authorities.
