EFFECTIVENESS OF USING BLENDED LEARNING IN SCIENCE CURRICULUM FOR DEVELOPING TEAMWORK AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS AMONG PREPARATORY PUPILS

Abstract

The current research aimed to study the effectiveness of using blended learning in the science curriculum to develop teamwork and problem-solving skills The environment for middle school students, and to achieve this, previous research and studies and their related research tools were reviewed The subject of the research, and the research relied on the experimental method, and the quasi-experimental design with two equal groups (control Experimental), and the study was applied to an intentional group of (100) male and female students from the second year of middle school in my school The Chamber of Commerce and the Official Marg Department of Education, and it was divided into two groups, control and experimental, with a rate of (50) male and female students. For each of them, the research tools represented in the teamwork skills scale and the environmental problem solving skills scale were applied before After applying the research experiment, blended learning was used to teach a unit of the science curriculum with the experimental group, and the use of the traditional method with the control group,The results of the research showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the control group And the experimental group in the post application in favor of the experimental group that learned using blended learning, which confirms the effectiveness of it Using blended learning to develop teamwork skills and solve environmental problems.
