Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the role of modern technology in improving life awareness for people with hearing disabilities. The study sample consisted of (60) male and female students from Gharbia Governorate, specifically (30) male and female students from Tanta, the capital of the governorate, and (30) male and female students from the countryside through The application of the measure of improving the awareness of life prepared by the researcher and it was completely reviewed to ensure the validity and reliability of the scale. The sample social survey method was used. Statistical analysis was done to analyze the necessary information and data based on the study tools: (the scale of improving the quality of life, the primary data form).
The study reached some results, the most important of which is the existence of a relationship between the use of modern technologies and improving the quality of emotional and psychological life, social life, communicative life, and educational life for the hearing impaired. Specialists in order to facilitate the use of appropriate technology in accordance with the individual differences between children and the need for state institutions to support families of hearing-impaired children, especially cases of children that require cochlear implants, in order to increase the material cost for them and to provide academically qualified teachers within educational institutions for people with hearing disabilities
