PSYCHOSOMATIC DISORDERS STUD CAUSED BY PSYCHOLOGICAL STRESS ON EENAL FAILURE PATIENTS

Abstract

The study aimed to detect psychosomatic disorders resulting from the stress faced by patients with renal failure. The researchers identified a sample of (100) single males and females with renal failure patients who frequent the dialysis centers, at ages ranging from (30: 40) years. Psychosomatic disorders prepared by researchers, and the responses of the study sample were analyzed, and the study showed: There is a significant positive correlation between stress resulting from kidney failure disease and some psychosomatic disorders, and the general feature of the level of psychological stress among patients with renal failure is characterized by ahigh level, also the results of the study showed There are differences in the psychological stress resulting from the disease and the gender variable in the direction of male patients with renal failure, as well as differences in the pressure and age variable in the direction of young ages, the level of stress and the variable duration of treatment are indicative in the direction of the longer treatment period, and finally the results of the study showed that psychosomatic disorders Resulting from the psychological pressures of patients with renal failure, it is represented by disorders of the digestive system, and disorders of the nervous system. The research also recommends the employment of psychologists in health centers and units. Renal reflux and the associations that work to help these patients, with the aim of mitigating the effect of a disease on the psychological side of the patient. Pharmacological treatment is not complete without psychological treatment. Establishment of centers specialized in psychological counseling to alleviate the psychological pressure of patients with renal failure through the use of positive cognitive behavioral therapy methods , The need to work on psychological health education for patients with renal failure and their families by providing information on the disease, necessary treatments and coping strategies to cope with the disease, especially the uneducated and the elderly.
