USING MODERN CINEMATIC TECHNIQUES IN DEALING WITH ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES ON EGYPTIAN TELEVISION

Abstract

The research aims to clarify the importance of using modern cinematic techniques in dealing with environmental issues on Egyptian television. The descriptive approach was used in both parts of the survey and content analysis, and the design of a newspaper questionnaire to measure the possibility of addressing environmental issues in Egypt using modern cinematic techniques on Egyptian television. It contains (21) items directed to a random sample of (85) film and television experts in Egypt. A content analysis form was designed for media materials that may use modern cinematic techniques to address environmental issues, represented by a sample of service programs, including (the Green Planet program),
and (the Here is Maspero program) and (direct From Egypt program),
The results pointed out, From the opinion of environmental science experts, a list has been drawn up of environmental issues that can be addressed using modern cinematic techniques on Egyptian television.
- There is a statistically significant difference between the respondents at a significant level of 0.05 in favor of those who support the possibility of using modern cinematic techniques in addressing environmental issues on Egyptian television for those who do not support- There is a statistically significant difference at a significant level of 0.05 in favor of those who use television means in dealing with environmental issues over those who use modern cinematic techniques on Egyptian television.- The research recommended training media cadres to produce environmental media materials on Egyptian television using modern cinematic techniques.
