STUDY OF THE ROLE OF ACTIVATING KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT IN IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF THE PERFORMANCE OF ORGANIZATIONS IN THE WORK ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

Today organizations are subjected to successive pressures to improve the quality of products or services provided by, reduce cost and improve performance, use high-tech quality methods, and this can only be achieved with the knowledge that represent real wealth and power owned by the Organization, as it Represents knowledge capital which enables the Organization to achieve sustainable competitive advantage, and to reach outstanding performance through best practice.
The study is designed to measure and analyze the impact of activating processes of knowledge management as a modern approach to improve the quality of performance,  using a survey, included 387 officers from Ministry of environment and the faculty members with universities in Cairo.
This study used descriptive, through extrapolation of review of previous studies and books and references periodicals and articles, Arab and foreign countries, with the aim of the composition of the conceptual framework of the study, the analytical method using the analytical approach statistical to discover the links between the variables and access to the most important results of the study.
The study reached through theoretical analysis and statistical analysis of field study to a relation of moral significance covariant between quality of the Organization's performance and the ability of the Organization to practice of knowledge management where linear correlation results showed moral relationship, which that organization's ability to practice knowledge management positively affect the quality of the Organization's performance.
