A PROPOSED PROGRAM FOR DEVELOPING AWARENESS OF INDUSTRIAL SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS OF SCHOOL ENVIRONMENTAL RISKS

Abstract

 
The current search Targeted the development of students' awareness of the dangers the school environment has in industrial high school, and to achieve this, the researcher specified a list of environmental risks which the students face inside the school, and then presented to the arbitrators it came in three main categories : physical, chemical and biological, and their number is (34) environmental risks, then preparing a measure of awareness of these risks, which included (36) environmental stances. the student determines the answer in the light of whether the position is environmentally dangerous or not, with mentioning the source or the cause if there is one, and the results showed a decline in students' awareness of the dangers that surround them in Industrial high school necessitating the construction of a program includes the objectives, content, teaching methods, activities teaching aids, and evaluation. And testing it to see how effective it is. And applying it took four weeks of intensive lectures, workshops and activities on an experimental sample of (70) students by applying the research tool of awareness measure about environmental risks. Then applying the proposed program, before and after applying the measure. Processing the results statistically using t-test and the percentage of Black equation demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed program to raise awareness of students about the environmental risks in industrial high school.
