Abstract

This study aims to clarify the major rationals for the low percentage of Bedouin workers in the tourism projects in South Sinai; to improve their living standards. The research methodologies that is used in this study is as follows. The descriptive analytical approach, social sample survey approach and documentary approach. Study sample is 200 classified into four different age groups. They had been interviewed with the appropriate tool which is the questionnaire. The study questionnaire includes 86 questions, 54 of them are closed questions and the other 32 is open ended questions. After collecting the results, the appropriate statistical methods were used in the data entry process before analyzing it to validate the study hypotheses.
 - illiteracy and technological illiteracy are the major issues that faces the Bedouins working in tourism.
 - Cultural legacies shows a sort of obstacles for the Bedouins to work like the lack of working women within their communities as well as the men’s reluctance to work which requires to spend overnights out of their homes.
 - They don’t show clear resistance for the working concept and they are ready to accept an awareness coaching for the environmental responsibility towards working in tourism to improve their incomes.
 - Rough and tough roads between valleys that link the Bedouins communities, as well as the the torrential rains, crawling sandpipers and the major physical problems.
- The necessity of representing the Bedouin in the decision making process with the local management systems to support their responsibility in tourism.
 - Its very essential to involve the Bedouins in the management and protection of the nature reserves even its natural or constructed.
 - We have to take advantage for the Bedouins desire in the handmade trainings to capitalize from their experience in building trained labor.
 - Its very important to support camel racings festivals as its an opportunity to attract tourists and to benefit the economy, sports and tourism.
