SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS OF WOMEN'S ROLE IN PROMOTING ENVIRONMENTAL INDUSTRIES IN THE BAHARIYA OASIS

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the current status of the practice of research for environmental industries in the research area, determine the degree of their knowledge of social and environmental variables related to this role, and determine the correlation between them between their studied variables to promote environmental industries. The research was limited to all females engaged in the environmental industries in the three largest villages in terms of their number: Baweti, Mandisha and Qasr, and the number of (1,639) females, and the sample was identified in a simple random manner using the equation of Karggi and Morgan, which amounted to (311) research 18.97% of the total and distributed according to their presence, the data were collected through the questionnaire form from November 2020 to January 2021.
Top search results: 56.6% of the researches are in the high category of environmental industry, 36.0% are in the middle category. The 100th weighted average for research on social and environmental variables related to their role in promoting the environmental industries in the research area was 58.9%, 51.8% were in the high category. There is a moral correlation at the probability level (0.01) between the degree to which researches are aware of social and environmental variables related to their role in the advancement of environmental industries, and the degree (domestic economic activity) and exposure to sources of information on industries Environmental, trend towards environmental industries, economic values, social values), and at the probability level (0.05) between other variables.
