THE EFFECT OF THE IMAGINATION STRATEGY ON DEVELOPING BASIC EDUCATION STUDENTS' CREATIVE ENGLISH WRITING AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEM SOLVING

Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the effect of the Imagination Strategy on Developing Basic Education Students' creative English writing, and environmental problem solving, where the problem of the study was identified, through reading the previous studies, and through working as a teacher at Al-Azhar, the low level of the pupils at English as(EFL).To recognize the effect of using the Imagination Strategy on learning English as a foreign language(EFL) for the fifth grade of basic stage. To realize the aim of the study the researcher followed the following procedures:
A list of the most important skills of English that the fifth grade pupils was prepared, and another The researcher designed a creative writing skills' measuring test, and designed another one for the environmental problems. the researcher applied the Quasi- Experimental Approach in the study.
- The study sample was standrized on a sample of (20) pupils of the fifth grade pupils divided into two groups,(10) pupils for the control group, and the experimental group. She conducted a pre- test for the two groups, and a posttest after applying the imagination strategy on the experimental group for a month (4 lessons per a week).The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the post application in (creative English test) among the students of the control group and the experimental group in favor of the experimental group.
