Abstract

Imoportance of The Study: The importance of this study is that the security is no longer the responsibility of the security forces alone , security becomes the issue should be shared by all the official and non-official institutions of society .
School represents the second social environment after family in which the individual acquires the social and cultural values in society, if the school fails to do its part, the community loses the second line of defense against crime.
Therefore , the review of the security role of educational institutions in the fight against terrorism , violence and extremism has become necessary at the present time , because of the dynamic weight of the school in Community building and culture .
Since this represents the weight of the importance of the security dimension

The Study Raises Several Questuion:

What are the concept of terrorism and intellectual extremism?
What are the social and economic reasons for the emergence of extremism and terrorism?
What is the impact of terrorism and religious and intellectual extremism on the individual, family and society?
What is the preventive role of institutions in facing the phenomenon of terrorism violence and extremis

Objectives of The Study: This research aims to define terrorism and ideological and religious extremism, and providing a social reading of the role of the state and institutions in the fight against terrorism, violence and extremism
Through a review of the following themes: The concept of terrorism and ideological and religious extremism
Social and economic reasons for the emergence of the phenomenon of terrorism and intellectual Extremism on the individual, family and society?
Privide some recommendations to activate the security role of the state and institutions in facing terrorism and religious and intellectual extremism.
Methodology of The Study: This study depends on monitoring of the scientific heritage related to the studied phenomenon of terrorism and ideological and religious extremism ( descriptive approach )
